水ing株式会社（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長：安田真規）は、2025年7月5日～6日に開催された国際会議「WET2025」に協賛し、水環境分野の技術革新と人材育成を支援するため、優れた研究者に「水ing賞」を授与しました。

WET2025について
　WET（Water and Environment Technology Conference）は、日本水環境学会が主催する国際会議で、水環境に関する最新の研究成果や技術動向が発表される場です。年に一度開催され、世界中から科学者、技術者、学生などが集い、知見を共有します。当社は、水と環境の安全安心を守り、持続可能な社会の実現を目指す企業として、2012年から協賛を続けています。
　今年のWETは、長岡市のアオーレ長岡を会場に開催され、初日には「The Excellent Paper Award」受賞論文の特別講演が行われました。2日間で約200件の口頭・ポスター発表が実施され、活発な議論が交わされました。
　当社は2012年よりこの会議に協賛しており、水と環境の安全安心を守り、持続可能な社会の実現を目指す企業として、若手研究者の支援に取り組んでいます。今年は、当社の基盤技術研究センター長である島村和彰が登壇し、参加者に向けてメッセージを届けました。
　また、「水ing賞」として、2件が「Excellent Paper Award」、26件が「Excellent Presentation Award」を受賞しました。これらの賞は、学会誌「JWET（Journal of Water and Environment Technology）」に投稿された優秀な論文や、WETでの優れた発表に対して贈られるものです。
 
「水ing賞」について
　本賞は、日本水環境学会が主催する学術誌「JWET（Journal of Water and Environment Technology）」に掲載された優秀な論文に対して贈られる「Excellent Paper Award」と、WET Conferenceでの優れたプレゼンテーションに対して贈られる「Excellent Presentation Award」の2部門で構成されています。
　水ing賞は、未来の水環境を支える技術と人材の育成を後押しする取り組みであり、持続可能な社会の実現に向けた当社の経営理念にある「水を通じて社会に貢献し続ける」を体現するものです。
