RapidX, Inc. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Sena Masaru), a company engaged in the research and development of AI-based anomaly prediction and detection systems, has been selected for the Tokyo Cross Lab program, part of the “Open Innovation Promotion Project Utilizing Assets Held by Major Corporations” under the Tokyo 2050 Strategy, organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
 
Through this program, RapidX will conduct verification and research activities at the Tsukuba Technical Research Center owned by Pacific Consultants Co., Ltd., one of the selected participating major corporations. The collaboration will focus on improving the accuracy of RapidX’s AI-based anomaly prediction system and evaluating its broader applicability to construction sites and infrastructure facilities. The two companies will also begin detailed discussions toward joint research and future collaboration.
 
About the “Open Innovation Promotion Project Utilizing Assets Held by Major Corporations” under the Tokyo 2050 Strategy
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government promotes open innovation by matching large corporations that possess research and development facilities and equipment with startups and small or medium-sized enterprises that wish to utilize such assets for R&D activities. Through this initiative, the program aims to facilitate collaboration between both parties and accelerate innovation.
