Why Now? |

OpenClaw has surpassed 329,000 GitHub stars (as of March 22, 2026) and is used by an estimated 2 million+ people worldwide (AI Business, March 17, 2026) - making it the fastest-growing open-source AI agent in history. At his GTC 2026 keynote, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang called it "the next ChatGPT" and declared that "every company in the world today needs to have an OpenClaw strategy." OpenClaw conferences known as "ClawCon" are now being held in cities around the globe. |

Here's the challenge: the U.S. and China currently account for 65% of all OpenClaw usage (Nikkei, March 18, 2026). In Japan, many people feel the urgency - "I know I need to try this" - but don't know where to begin. There are real security concerns, an overwhelming number of use cases emerging worldwide, and a general sense of "where do I even start?" |

ClawCon Tokyo - the first ClawCon to be held in Japan - takes place on March 30 (Mon), just two days later. We believe Japan needs its own hub for sharing OpenClaw knowledge. Together with a team of volunteers - engineers, entrepreneurs, lawyers and community managers - we organized this event to help you get started with confidence. |
